Apple & Quill: Rupprecht & Spinney

Apple & Quill's Spring 2015 lineup showcased creative writers from the Hamilton College community.

Joe Rupprecht '18 plans on majoring in Creative Writing. He grew up in Syracuse, NY and attended Christian Brothers Academy, where he developed a love of reading and writing. While in high school, he won the “Oh How Upstate Creative Writing Award” and was a finalist for the 2014 Syracuse Stage Young Playwrights Festival.

Collin Spinney '16 is a creative writing major from Raymond, NH. Collin is an editor for the Duel Observer, head fiction editor for Red Weather, and head of Writers' Bloc. His work has been published on campus in Red Weather.

Alex Rihm

Research & First Year Experience Librarian, Hamilton College

Alex Rihm serves Hamilton's first year students and the faculty who teach them in her work as Research and First Year Experience Librarian; she also provides support to the Hispanic Studies and Latin American Studies departments. Her professional interests include information literacy instruction and assessment.  Alex holds her MLIS from the University of Washington in Seattle and BA degrees in International Affairs and Hispanic Studies from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR.
